The event was at the Sourdough Ranch, in Woodland Park. All of the gubernatorial candidates spoke. I kicked off the event with the recitation of "The History of the Star Spangled Banner" to a standing ovation. Congressman Doug Lamborn was present and went out of his way to congratulate me on the performance.
